Another good hygiene tip is oral hygiene. It is very important to teach children how to brush their teeth and when to brush their teeth. Making good oral hygiene a good habit early on will help prevent cavities and gum disease. Flossing is also important to teach, and your dentist can show you how to teach a young child that important habit.

Always carry facial tissue and keep your mouth covered when sneezing/coughing. Small bottles of hand sanitizer are helpful when soap and water aren't available or convenient.
