Someone in my family has recently had 'the stomach flu', which I understand may be caused by norovirus. They think if they spray down infected surfaces with Lysol spray, the virus will be effectively eliminated. I see conflicting information on the Web. Is it true that Lysol spray will kill norovirus? Also, I have read that the wipes will not. Is this true?

Hi again, LYSOL® Disinfectant Spray "Brand III" should be available in most mass merchandise, grocery or drug stores. You may wish to check with a store manager about their availability. Additionally, another option would be to try a popular online retailer.

Hi there, when used per label directions, LYSOL® Disinfectant Spray "Brand III" is effective against norovirus. However, LYSOL® Disinfecting Wipes are not effective against norovirus.
