LYSOL® WORD SCRAMBLE SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

THE FOLLOWING PROMOTION IS INTENDED FOR VIEWING IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND SHALL ONLY BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES LAW. DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES. Important: Please read these rules before entering the sweepstakes. By clicking on the "Submit" button on the entry form, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements.

No Purchase Necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. Purchasing a product will not improve your chances of winning. Sweepstakes open only to legal U.S. residents currently residing in the 50 United States and Washington, DC, 18 years of age or older.

1. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes period ("Sweepstakes Period") is from 12:01:00 AM Eastern Standard Time November 7, 2008 to 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time March 5, 2009.

2. Eligibility: “LYSOL® Word Scramble” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations. Employees of Reckitt Benckiser Inc. (“Sponsor”), Invenda Corp., Arrowhead Promotions and Fulfillment Co., and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses), and persons living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter or win. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By participating, you agree to these official rules and to the decisions of the sponsor and independent judges whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winners.

An eligible entrant must enter via the online method as described. Incomplete entries are void. Limit one (1) entry per person/household/computer/email per week per duration of Sweepstakes. Enter every week to be entered in the Weekly Prize drawing for that week. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a week begins at 12:01 AM ET on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM ET on the immediately following Thursday. Playing the Word Scramble Game does not constitute or affect the chances of winning. Online entrants must complete all required elements of the entry form in order to be eligible. Online entrant must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered.

3. How to Enter: Online entries only. ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON/PER EMAIL/PER COMPUTER PER WEEK WILL BE ACCEPTED. Complete all required elements of the online sweepstakes entry form provided on the www.lysol.com website and click submit to enter the sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, you consent to terms of the contest and our Privacy Policy located at www.lysol.com. Playing the Word Scramble will not increase your chances of winning the sweepstakes.

4. Proof of e-mailing does not constitute proof of delivery.

5. Winner Selection: One (1) Weekly Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing, every week for seventeen (17) weeks, from among all eligible entries received by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this promotion and will conduct winners' selection and verification. (Total Prize winners for the duration of the Sweepstakes: 17) Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received during each week. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a week begins at 12:01 AM ET on Friday and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on the immediately following Thursday. Sponsor will attempt to notify potential winners by mail and e-mail. Potential prizewinners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 14 days of notification or prize will be awarded to alternate winner.

6. Prizes: Seventeen (17) Grand Prize Winners will each receive a $1,000 gift check or gift card and a prize pack of LYSOL® brand products: (1) LYSOL® Disinfectant Spray, (1) LYSOL® Disinfecting Wipes, (1) LYSOL® Disinfectant Spray To Go, (1) LYSOL® Healthy Touch™ Gentle Hand Sanitizer Foam (Total ARV: $14.26 for prize pack of LYSOL® Products). There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner every week for a total of seventeen (17) weeks. Approximate total retail value of weekly prizes (“ARV”): $1,000 + $14.26 prize pack ARV. Total value of $1,014.26. Delivery is included and is not the responsibility of the winner. Limit one prize per person/household/computer/ email address per week. All income taxes are the responsibility of the winner and are not reflected in the value of the prize awarded. No transfer, or cash or other substitution of prizes is allowed, except that Sweepstakes entities reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to substitute a prize or prize component of comparable or greater value. Sweepstakes entities will not replace any lost or stolen prize once in the possession or control of the prize recipient. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. Winners should follow prize redemption procedures stated in prize notification.

7. General: SWEEPSTAKES SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Participants are responsible for all costs or charges involved in accessing the World Wide Web and warrant that the cost of accessing the Internet, if any, is part of a larger agreement with an Internet Service Provider or some other means, and that the cost of this access and/or the time spent, if any, to configure their website is not an incremental cost in order to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for those who cannot access the Internet or cannot click-through for any period of time regardless of technical, hardware, software, telephone, Internet, virus contamination, or network problems, for delay, failure or malfunction for any reason. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if in sponsor's sole determination it believes that the integrity of the Sweepstakes has been, or could be compromised or that the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Sweepstakes if in Sponsor's sole judgment entrant has not complied with these Official Rules. An entrant's entry will also be disqualified, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, if the entrant attempts (i) to enter the Sweepstakes through any means other than as described in these Official Rules; or (ii) provides information that is inaccurate or fraudulent; or (iii) attempts to disrupt the Sweepstakes or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. Sponsor and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, illegible, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Sweepstakes disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor, or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Only the number of prizes listed in the Official Rules will be awarded. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable or Sponsor cannot contact winner for any reason, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. By entering, all participants release and hold harmless Reckitt Benckiser Inc., Arrowhead Fulfillment Co., Invenda Corp..; and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, successors and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising, production and web hosting agencies from any and all liability regarding error or omissions in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the receipt and use of prizes awarded, and, without limiting the generality of the above, from any injury or death while using the prize. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner's name, likeness, site address, and site images for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
