The color and fragrance of the cleaner does not impact the performance of the cleaner. Dyes and fragrances are added to the cleaning formula to make the color and smell, but are not a cleaning agents. The small size of the Lysol Smart refill cartridges limit the amount of dye that can be added, therefore the color/fragrance may be lighter. However, the formula is equally robust and performs comparably to other disinfecting cleaners.
