Which Lysol products kill the Coronavirus?

The following Lysol products were evaluated by an independent third party and have been tested and approved to kill the COVID-19 virus (SARS-COV-2)  on hard, non-porous surfaces.

Can I use other Lysol products to prevent COVID-19 spread?

Lysol is currently testing its other disinfecting products. Until we are able to provide a result, the EPA has listed other Lysol disinfectants that are effective against similar human coronaviruses or that meet the EPA Viral Emerging Pathogen Policy2(List N). These Lysol products meet their criteria, and can be used against the COVID-19 virus.

Although disinfecting is one way to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, in order to keep yourself and your family safe the CDC also recommends other behaviors such as washing your hands, wearing a facemask and avoiding close contact with people outside your home1.

Improper use of Disinfectants

Due to recent speculation and social media activity, RB (the makers of Lysol and Dettol) has been asked whether internal administration of disinfectants may be appropriate for investigation or use as a treatment for coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).
