How to Use Disinfecting Sprays

To Sanitize and Disinfect:

Pre-clean surface.

Hold can upright 6" to 8" from surface.

Spray 3 to 4 seconds until covered with mist.

To sanitize:

Surfaces must remain wet for 10 seconds then allow to air dry.

To disinfect:

Surfaces must remain wet for 3 minutes then allow to air dry.

To Control and Prevent Mold and Mildew:

  1. Apply to pre-cleaned surface

  2. Allow to remain wet for 3 minutes

  3. Let air dry

  4. Repeat applications in weekly intervals or when mold and mildew growth appears

Use on hard, non-porous surfaces

Pre-clean surfaces prior to use.

Hold can upright 6 to 8 inches from surface.

Spray 3 to 4 seconds until covered with mist.

Rinse toys and food contact surfaces with potable water after use.


To disinfect:

Surfaces must remain wet for 3 minutes then allow to air dry.

For Norovirus surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes then allow to air dry


To sanitize:

Surfaces must remain wet for 10 seconds then allow to air dry.


To control and prevent mold and mildew:

Apply to pre-cleaned surface.

Allow to remain wet for 3 minutes.

Let air dry.

Repeat applications in weekly intervals or when mold and mildew growth appears.


To deodorize:

Spray on surfaces as needed.

To spot sanitize soft surfaces:

Spray until fabric is wet.

DO NOT SATURATE.

Fabric must remain wet for 30 seconds.

Let air dry.

For difficult odors, repeat application.

How and where to use Lysol disinfectant spray to kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. For great protection from germs, be sure to disinfect frequently touched areas such as light switches, door handles, kitchen counters, fridge and microwave handles, remotes and more. Hold the can upright 6-8 inches from the surface and spray from 3-4 seconds until covered. Let surface remain wet for 3 minutes to disinfect.
